BILLY BRANDT is a singer, guitarist, and composer whose music has working-class appeal that radiates masculine charm and chutzpah. He has a voice like dark roasted coffee with a hint of cream.
Raised in Hanover, MA, Brandt now lives in the Pacific Northwest. A mainstay on the Seattle music scene, he performs regularly in clubs all around the city. Brandt is a storyteller, both as a singer and composer, somewhat in the tradition of Tom Waits, though with a more refined and nuanced voice. He released his third CD, “CITY NOIR” in April 2019. It follows his 2011 release “The Ballad of Larry’s Neighbor” and “Get it Going,” released in 2016. RACE THAT SHIT is all about the beautiful, immaculate, unusual, ugly, sketchy machines that folks decide to build & fling around racetracks. Some are obsessively built thoroughbreds, some are terrible ideas held together with zip ties. Come hang out, drink a beer, and see what vintage motorcycle racing is all about. We'll have bikes setup indoors & outdoors all afternoon, and will be getting progressively drunker as the evening goes on. It'll be great!
